After
I am very pleased with the pieces that we bought and had refinished. I think by far the armoir and kitchen cabinet are my favorites! I am looking forward to another trip out to Mr. Wong's and Nui Wei's in the near future. Nui Wei had also told me that he can make me anything from a picture or catalog, so I am thinking I might have him make me a couple sofas and a coffee table out of a Chinese shutter. We will see!

Wow - everything looks great! I'm kind of partial to the little cabinet in the kitchen. Nicely done!
YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!! just recently-- like last week-- i got a FREE antique dining room buffet from my yahoo freecycle group. it's in rough shape but will be gorgeous when it's refinished. i thought i would attempt to do it myself, but then on a whim i called a refinisher that i've heard about in town. the cost to have it professionally refinished?? they quoted me between $400-$600 at a minimum! sheesh!!! guess i'll be taking this on as a project and doing it myself...
anyway, the furniture looks fabulous?? i think i asked before... do you get to move everything back with you when you eventually return to the states? hope so!
p.s. the kitchen cabinet thingie with the 2-drawers/2-cabinets is just gorgeous and is my favorite!
Your furniture looks fantastic!
